Friends of Martin Park is volunteer-led community nonprofit that supports and protects the park. The organization does not have paid staff and is governed and operated by a volunteer board of directors who work in partnership with park staff and the community.
Finance and Governance
Work with the Treasurer to provide budgeting and financial planning support, monitor financial efficiency, manage internal controls, and assess financial reports for timely communication with members.
Hospitality
Help make Friends at board meetings. Provide and set-up food and door prizes for meetings.
Development and Communications
This committee supports our fundraising and outreach efforts to mobilize philanthropic support and public engagement for Martin Park and Friends.
Publicity and Membership
Help identify and execute ways to make Friends and encourage public engagement. Ensure that new members are welcomed and receive timely information. Maintain and update membership database.
Event Planning
This committee will work closely with the Development committee and Board to design, plan and execute events.
